A black carbon-and-nylon outer shell frames the real visual signature: coloured cables running through the dial like a live circuit. The contrast between the dark structure and the exposed wiring became one of the most recognisable looks of the first ELZ years.

A quartz movement keeps the time while a separate patented ELZ module powers four LEDs after dark.
